She has long been dedicating to the study related to Parkinson's disease (PD) and in charge of many scientific research projects at national or provincial level. The major domains of these projects concentrating on the potential effects and underlying mechanisms of acupuncture on PD either by clinical studies or animal experiments. Clinical studies include the acupoints selection based on data mining, therapeutic mechanisms of acupuncture on PD through imaging and molecular science (e.g., changes in blood oxygen-dependent signal levels in SCN after acupuncture intervention) and a unique acupuncture regimen on the motor symptoms of PD. The basic studies focus on the effects and mechanisms of acupuncture from the perspectives of proliferation and differentiation of endogenous neural stem cells and changes in α-syn involved in gut-brain on a model of PD estimated by 6-OHDA injection. In addition, She is also conducting studies associated with depression, especially on teenagers and PD patients. She is the member of General Hospital Branch of Chinese Acupuncture Society, Sleep Management Committee of Chinese Acupuncture Society and the Prevention and Treatment Branch of Chinese Association of Traditional Chinese Medicine; vice chairman of Traditional Chinese Medicine Clinical Research Branch of Zhejiang Chinese Medicine Association; standing Member of Zhejiang Provincial Acupuncture and Moxibustion Professional Committee and Medical and Health Professional Committee of Zhejiang Quality Association. She published 13 and 6 peer-reviewed original articles in English and Chinese. Her team have successfully applied 8 patents especially on the wearable AI acupoint electrical stimulation device. She also served as chief editor or deputy editor of three books.
